how is it almost june already??? i can’t believe that a year ago was a whole year ago. montreal, brad and jared, piknic, that apartment on cote st catherine, walking to work through the mountain, shane, emilie, laura, those crazy nights in that crazy white lace dress. so wild. sooooo wild. and now i’m a few short weeks away from being 24 living a completely different life on the other side of the world. jesus. la vie c’est incroyable et je l’adore.

FRIDAY NIGHT AND IM NOT WORKING
and i dont work tomorrow. and i meet rachel-from-socal at 10:30 at the liquor store. and i was going to drink an energy drink but then i saw it had 924 calories and yeah right! i’ll take my instant, black coffee instead. need to save room for the entire pizzas i consume on a daily basis now. seriously. fuck.
it’s 10*C out and i’m wonderinggggg if i can wear a dress. i guess it sort of depends on how much wine i drink before i leave the house…
spent the entire afternoon with people who think my name is ACTUALLY coco. it was fun. and then it was awkward. how long can i live the lie?
i just realized how fucking dumb this is. brainwashing kids with fear not to challenge their belief systems. threatening them with having death on their hands if they do. reminds me of a little thing called organized religion… hmmmm…
winter is coming
or here? don’t really know what winter is like in these parts! i’ve heard more than enough about the shitty weather in wellington but honestly it is soooo not that bad. yeah it gets a little windy, and yeah it rains here and there, but overall it’s been pretty sweet. it’s blowing my MIND how little the cold is getting to me. maybe i’m just used to it, or maybe i’ve just gone long enough without it, or maybe i’m just so inlove with my boots that any excuse to wear them puts me in a good mood. who knows. either way, i’m kinda groovin on these crisp, autumn days. AND I DONT EVEN HAVE A HEATING SYSTEM IN MY HOUSE. at all. whatsoever. god knows what i would do without my electric blanket (that i try really, really hard to remember to turn off when i leave the house). now that i’m writing this i’m worried that i will jinx it and things will just go to shit and i’ll hate myself… nahhhh.
joined the gym this morning - booyah! i love exercise.
am all about eggs on rice these days. and potatoes on pizza. love.
reading some serious bukowski at the moment. love that too. damn is he ever a naughty man.
AND i also just want to say that i really enjoy walking home after work at night, all bundled, and looking up as i turn onto my street i see the southern cross overhead. boom.
